Digital Headshot
I've been
working with and experimenting with digital images for
over 15 years. There are pros and cons with this
medium that one needs to consider when making your final
prints. Although we may treat the headshot like
fine art, the fact remains it is tool that gets you in
the door. Digital gives us this opportunity to have a
lot of fun with out worrying about how much film we
have. If we want to play with a type of shot...we
can. If you're not feeling comfortable
and you need a little time to warm up...no problem.
If you want the images now! Done. Film limitations are no longer an issue.
Plus we have the added ability to retouch with out
sacrificing the image quality. Of course
some habits die hard...so if you are still wanting a
film shoot, please see our
Actors Headshot page. Bring
some music you like
During the shoot
We like to have fun
during the shoot
Both my wife and I will create a relaxing atmosphere for
us to play and work in. Many times my wife, Joleen will be there
adding a third eye making sure your clothes look right
and the colors work. We will look at
your clothes and talk about the type of shots you want.
We will do light hair and
make up for the camera... We recommend you do your
own makeup so that you can recreate your look when you
go to a casting session.
With each look we may
utilize various backgrounds and lighting.
Bring
some music...or else you may be stuck with Hank Williams
or some obscure Phillip Glass.
After the
shoot I will make your own
personal web page for you to share your shoot with
others. Within 30 days from the shoot, pick the images you want to make into
8x10's and I will adjust and color correct 2 per session.
You will also have 1/2hr per picture of free Photoshop.*
Additional images may be color corrected by myself or at the lab
you choose. I then will give you a Cd of the
session for you to take to your lab. |
